Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development
GECAD, Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development is a research unit settled in the School of Engineering of Porto Polytechnic (ISEP/P.Porto). Its mission is to carry out scientific research for the development and innovation of engineering intelligent systems and other fields. Currently, GECAD develops projects in the fields of smart grids and electricity markets, Internet of Things, intelligent cities, cyber-physical systems, knowledge management & decision support systems.
